Christmas Flavors in tea and dessert. I actually tend to struggle to eat it all after I buy it, so this year I was *trying* not to buy too much, but I'm not sure I succeeded...

It's a weakness thing here.......

Whenever somebody asks me what's my weakness in photography, I always answer photojournalism. Probably because I don't practice it a lot. But then our finals for DIGIPHO came and it was photojournalism. This photo is my favorite among all my shots. Please give some time and lemme share you his story~

This is Mang Boy. He's a garbage collector that wanders around the area of Pasay City, Philippines. He always gets my attention because of two dogs that always follows him. These two dogs are his and despite of his life status, he decided to adopt those two puppies instead of them being stray dogs. He tries his best to share some of his food to his dogs just to keep them alive but you know what? He told me that even though he sometimes don't feed them very much, these dogs never leave him and continues to follow him.

"They are the reason why I smile. They are the reason why I'm not alone. That's why I love them." - Mang Boy

When we were asked to do photojournalism, I thought the reason why we needed to do this was to expand our photography knowledge. True, but it was more than that. I'm starting to believe that the main reason why we were tasked to do this was to discover other people's story. Stories that are left ignored. Stories that can capture your heart. A story worth capturing by your camera. This is why I love photography.

I finally got my focus, ISO, shutter, aperture, ect to a mostly happy place, and the aurora died. I did get about 30 shots of more faint aurora, some even with some red, another m6 class solar flare is expected to hit tonight about midnight local time, and it looks like there was another m8 flare this afternoon, so I'll be heading out the next few night in search of my perfect shot

haha i had a pretty sucky day at school today! School was great up until the end.

I got a case of "the mean reds." As soon as i got home i attacked

this Dutch Apple Pie. Its so weird that food can make you feel way better about stuff.

It sucks that our metabolisms will only get slower.

I really don't want to be fat!

The real weakness with the android phones is that the have memory issues they alow you to push the phones to its limit unlike apple with is good at times but causes a very slow experience. Shouldnt havethat problem with this baby.

There's a weakness in a window

Place my footprints in a dark room

There's lonely voices like a scarecrow

In the hallway like a lost coast

In the bedroom I see a shadow

From the moon with light from a candle

On a bed frame lies a girl

Her reflection in the mirror

I do it from time to time

Where I can never wake from a bad dream

From time to time

I do it from time to time

Where I can never say the things I mean

From time to time

I do this from time to time

Where I like to watch you as you sleep

From time to time

I do this from time to time

Where I like to think of you and me

It's a dark night on the west coast

Yet a soft breeze as the sun rose

Then the phone rang like a gunshot

Like a siren on the beach rock

There's a passage at the river

A certain package here to deliver

When the day breaks after nightfall

I will be there, you know I will...

what i really meant was 'i do this from time to time; i take things apart just to view their innerworkings and explore the source of their power'

this was my old camera that my sister broke :(

i took the opportunity to thoroughly dissect it.

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

" One of the weaknesses of much abstract painting is the attempt to substitute the inventions of the intellect for a pristine imaginative conception. The inner life of a human being is a vast and varied realm and does not concern itself alone with stimulating arrangements of color, form and design. The term 'life' as used in art is something not to be held in contempt, for it applies all of its existence, and the province of art is to react to it and not to shun it. Painting will have to deal more fully and less obliquely with life and nature's phenomena before it can again be great "

Edward HOPPER

(Yes, I did somehow pack it all into my two paniers, with the exception of just a few things packed into a third tote that went over my shoulders. Didn't have to stop once! Which is something, since one hook on the blue bag came off and now I have to sling it over my shoulders or lash to the bike rack with my bungie cord, as I did tonight.)

I have a serious weakness for Art Deco, and this was one of the better small-scale examples I'd ever seen. I didn't see the interior, but the exterior appeared to be in good condition. The Go El Dorado website says this was built 1927-1928, and I guess they would know, but somebody on city council had some progressive ideas about architecture if that's true--most public buildings in the late 1920's seem to have been in some form of Neoclassical or Gothic derivative. Even Houston's city hall didn't look like this until 1939.

But some of ours are easier to identify

Look me in the eye

And ask for forgiveness

We'll make a pact to never speak that word again

Yes, you are my friend

We all have something that digs at us

At least we dig each other

So when weakness turns my ego up

I know you'll count on the me from yesterday

If I turn into another

Dig me up from under what is covering

The better part of me

Sing this song

Remind me that we'll always have each other

When everything else is gone

We all have a sickness

That cleverly attaches and multiplies

No matter how we try

We all have someone that digs at us

At least we dig each other

So when sickness turns my ego up

I know you'll act as a clever medicine

If I turn into another

Dig me up from under what is covering

The better part of me

Sing this song

Remind me that we'll always have each other

When everything else is gone

Oh, each other… when everything else is gone

Oh oh oh oh oh oh....

If I turn into another

Dig me up from under what is covering

The better part of me

Sing this song

Remind me that we'll always have each other

When everything else is gone

Oh, each other… when everything else is gone

Oh, each other… when everything else is gone

If weakness is a wound that no one wants to speak of, Then "cool" is just how far we have to fall. I am not immune, I only want to be loved, But I feel safe behind the firewall. Can I lose my need to impress? If you want the truth, I need to confess...I'm not alright, I'm broken inside... (Sanctus Real "I'm not alright")

Pretorius-My Only Weakness

Unrequited (The Bride and Monster)

From the sign: "'Bride of Frankenstein,' the 1935 sequel to 'Frankenstein' (1931) is another of del Toro's favourite films (and one of the few sequels in cinematic history that's considered better than the original). This tableau captures the closing scenes of 'Bride of Frankenstein': the monster stumbles up to the Bride and grunts, 'Friend?' but the Bride screams out, rejecting him. 'She hates me! Like others,' cries the monster. Del Toro finds the monster's attempt to find a companion touching, and revealing of the fragility of everyday connections."

At Home With Monsters is a special exhibit of filmmaker Guillermo del Toro's collections from Bleak House, his personal museum of movie memorabilia and creative inspirations.

True lament isn't an expression of weakness, whining or self-pity. It's an authentic expression of faith. Cindee Snider Re (p.65)
