June is usually a good period for whale-watching but this weekend was more suitable for wave-watching...
All over the little island, which can only be reached by walking across a sand bar at low tide, are beautifully carved gates and benches.
Started the morning off right with a friendly wave from the Utah crew. Throughout our trip, no matter what railroad, the crews were all great! Lots of toots and waves, and no birds that we were aware of, lol. Definitely not like some of the Midwestern and eastern RR crews.

Hello members,
There I go, off to my second walk to some great photographing spots, a lot of nature and windmills. The cows are waving me goodbye here on my second expedition to hopefully some great pictures!
It's early and there's a little dawn, but on this picture the sun was shining for a little while.
Good start appearently!

At the boulvard in Vlissingen there is a construction made by an artist whose name I don't know. This structure is made to catch the force of the waves and direct the water upwards through a narrow pipe. Here you can see the result if a wave hits.
Whitman 1954 Big Big Paint Book
Hello everyone! Since some of you may have children staying at home, I thought this was a good time to share scans of one of my vintage coloring books, in this case paint book. The book is large and has a lot of pages so it will take me several days to post over 300 pages. I love the art work in these old books.
Except for the title page, I tried to whiten the others so they did have a tan hue.
