Walking along a beach that was about a mile or more long I saw this piece of concrete on the waters edge. It looked like a relic from a world war two pillbox with the perfect circular access hole on the top. The waves were crashing against it so thought I'd try and catch the splash.

The very rough waters at Los Hervideros in Lanzarote.

A windy evening along the shore of Coronation Gulf produced some interesting photo opportunities.

It's hard to fathom the extreme force and energy, it takes to create a wave. Multiply that with wind and rocks and you get something truly spectacular. This was my first time using a vintage Jupiter-21M F4/200 M42 Soviet Portrait Telephoto Lens. I may need to play with this lens some more.

Castletown breakwater, Isle of Man

Just a simple shot but I liked the pattern of parallel lines made by the land in the distance, the coast, waves and the rocks in the foreground.
