High surf advisory at Wai'anapanapa, famous for its black sand beach. The black sand comes from massive black lava flows in one or more eruptions of Haleakala.
Thanks, as always, for stopping by and for all of your kind comments -- I appreciate them all.

Every breaking wave on the shore
Tells the next one there'll be one more
And every gambler knows that to lose
Is what you're really there for...

Not easily accessible , this site I came across while driving a road near by. I had to stop and find a way to reach here, and I managed to do so. Soon after this I had a feeling that few might follow seeing me here from the road and within 30 minutes there were two more groups that approached seeing me (knowing that they too can come here). The view was fantastic and here is one of the images I took there.
Enjoy!

…..A nice Cornish ‘Sea Fix’ today I thought would be in order seeing as the weather is not so good a the moment in many places and a forecast of 65 - 70 MPH to hit the coast suggests some rather bigger waves are to come!!!!! Stay safe & cosy everyone. .….. Alan:-)

I had posted this pic before but always wanted to spend a bit more time in processing...so I gave it a whole 5 minutes. I think it is better but still needs help. Maybe someone who knows what they are doing in Photoshop. This is one of those pics that you can't look through the veiwfinder. I was holding the camera about 2 inches above the water and hoping I got it level.
