Just caught the sunrays through the cloud and the sunset on the ocean as the wave broke on the shore of the island of Sal in Cape Verde.

Windy day at Yachats Oregon beach makes for some fantastic waves, especially during high tide.

For a few short minutes at Porthcurno this morning the golden sunrise backlit the waves, couple that with a strong offshore breeze made for some beautiful pics

From our visit to East Preston before Christmas. Looking forward to moving south but clearly need to be back from the beach if the world weather is gonna be changing so radically!

Cornish coastal scenes truly come to life in the winter months, as the wind whips up the waves that crash against the rocks.

Mullion is still a working fishing village with only three registered boats. Lord Robartes built the pier between 1890 and 1897 not only to protect the fishermen and their families but also to protect the boats coming in with coal that was required for his estate. Local millionaire Montague Meyer gave Mullion Cove to the National Trust in 1945.

Strong wind, but small waves.

Thanks for your visits, comments and faves.

I have so many pictures of the waves that I decided to put them into a collage !

manche Fenster sind einfach nur schön und dieses lässt mich von Wasser und Wellen träumen.

some windows are just beautiful and this makes me dream of water and waves.

Wave Quest - Coyote Buttes North

Sunrise on a SoCal pier back in October. I think the only thing more freeing than that surfer was me taking the shot of him riding this wave into shore as the sun was rising in the East.

The sun bathing between the palm trees and right into my line of sight made me feel as if it rose just for me.

There is not a day I don't dream of the ocean. I hope to live close to one someday. (And maybe take up surfing?)

This was taken on our recent vacation. The waves were double overhead on this day
