Making Waves at Bullock Harbour, Dalkey, Ireland.
It was a day of unusually high tide. Waves still making a splash even though the tide was still going out and near low tide. Only some waves made a big splash so it was a case of patience and trying to anticipate when there would be a big splash.
A picture of a wave crashing right next to shore. Can you guess how big or small the wave actually is?
This was shot on Sosua beach in the Dominican Republic. The entire sky was overcast giving a beautiful diffused light that shined perfectly through the crystal blue/green water of this tropical ocean.

The surf pounded the northern beaches coast so spectacularly that surfers and wave watchers appeared from everywhere and this big wave didn't disappoint – it reared up, roared in and sent several surfers rolling back to the beach. Queenscliff beach, NSW, May 6, 8.55am.
I met a clear beach of water and light.
I climbed on the rocks so much beauty thrilled
We decided to take this spectacular view from an overview
The greatest moment to fuse waves and light
Among them looked stifling.
The spectacle is not the same for a moment
Sometimes I change my look and I repeat my smile
It is engraved in my mind and it echoes.
I'm going back to my thoughts and calm judgment
Staring at this spectacle, overjoyed space-time
In harmony with the natural world, and the spectacle .

Another golden wave, but I used that name on another. This one is below a cliff with hoodoos, so I call it the Hoodoo Wave.
You won't believe how close this is to a popular spot on the Paria Plateau, but I've never seen a photograph of it before. Don't you think this could be a magnet for photographers? I'm sure it would look stunning in the first rays of morning sunlight, and there are multiple angles you could shoot in this area.
