Lonely boats in Stockholm. Taken from the Tranesbergsbron near Alvik.

I've been printing limited edition, block printed decorative papers lately. There'll just be a few of these - - in fact, this is a bit of research into future projects/products. These are printed from linoleum cuts on my Vandercook proof press, one wave block at a time. The ink tone and density can shift from sheet to sheet, wave to wave, even, due to the hand-printed nature of these papers.

The Capitola Wharf has some badly eroded, crusty, awful green covered remnants of posts.

B+W ND filter allowed the long exposure needed on this.

The water flowing around had a nice quality to it - especially in the late afternoon.

Just had to make sure that the kelp and other debris didn't get in the way.
