One of the two types of warning traffic-sign "Children" in Covasna, a town with mixed ethnic Romanian and Székely in Covasna county, Romania. Note the dream-like depiction of the two young people.

Location: Krakow, Poland.

Every school in eastern Ukraine is now displays these warning signs. While the signboard on the left explains the dangers posed by unexploded munitions and mines, the panel on the right explains where to seek shelter in a building in case of shelling.

Landmines and unexploded ordinances (UXOs) were the lead cause of child casualties in 2017, accounting for about two-thirds of all recorded deaths and injuries that left many children with lifelong disabilities. For the past 12 months, the EU has funded mine clearing near civilian areas by the Danish Refugee Council that also provides mine-awareness sessions for schoolchildren.

Warning sign on gate at vehicular entrance to the Smithsonian American Art Museum (parking garage? loading dock?), on 9th Street NW in Washington, DC. The stick figure getting bonked on the head caught my eye.

"Kids - and over active adults - please don't run": warning signage at Sugarloaf Point lighthouse, NSW.

I love a witty sign!

You have been warned if you're ever in Chippenham.

You rarely see a sign for the Railway Executive - the nationalised parent of the British Railways Board that existed during the 1950s. This little sign has a marvellous typeface and I so love that uppercase "W"! And 40/ (Fourty pre-decimal shillings or two pounds) fine - I wonder if I could acquire the sign for a couple of quid!

Broomfield Hospital is located in the Borough of Chelmsford in Essex (UK) and is proud to be a smoke free facility.. Whatever that means.

Kind of ironic then that staff from the hospital and nearby ambulance station in NHS uniforms together with patients regularly gather a few yards from here just off the premises of the hospital on North Court Road to have a quick puff like naughty schoolchildren in full view of arriving and departing guests of the hotel.. I mean hospital.

2016-04-04: WARNING SNAKES LIVE HERE. Yes, they probably do. As well as just about everywhere else of course...

A strage form of the warning sign, seen in Periş, a small town some 30 km north of Bucharest. It is clearly derived from the standard form, with the distinction that neither of the charcters is carrying a briefcase. Note the curious rendering of the young man's legs, and the difference between the robust male figure and the gracile female figure. This picture has been slightly retouched by eliminating offensive graffiti.

Do not feed the pigeons display at Bukit Merah Central, Jalan Bukit Merah.

This is a warning label on a bucket of Mayonnaise on sale at Costco. The bucket is so large, that children can apparently fall into it and drown.

Hawaiian getaway to Maui; Shark warning sign due to shark attack the day before that unfortunately killed a young woman off the shores of Southern Maui; this sign in front of Four Seasons resort's beach umbrellas. Sony a77, Sony 16-50mm

Photo detour... canceled. Mostly due to the rain, but the warning sign was effective as well. Plenty of places to hide my body down by the river.

The mineral waters of Pamukkale are believed to help recover from high blood pressure, kidney stones, stroke, rheumatism, nervous and physical exhaustion, eye and skin diseases, circulatory problems, digestive maladies, nutritional disorders and chronic disorders. Pamukkale became a spa resort today. Most hotels have been removed from the site itself due to the strain on the resources and the drying out of the pools. People are allowed to walk on the travertines in some places, though some prefer to merely get their feet wet as can be seen here. (Denizli/ Pamukkale, Turkey, Nov. 2014)

Take at Cape Palmerston, Central Queensland. Definitely a 4wd only track, just as well my truck is a 4wd :)

Much to my consternation I didn't see any crocodiles though...

See where this picture was taken. [?]

Warning sign on the quayside, Weymouth harbour

Warning signs at the Lê Duâng Street for another dangerous level crossing. Left is the narrow passage between housing short after leaving the station in southern direction and train drivers absolutely do not drive slowly here (walking pace e.g.).

Probably due to its requiring some degree of physical fitness, there were not too many tourists on the trail. In fact, although i could hear human voices faintly at the distance, I found myself completely alone most of the time, surrounded by dense bush and tropical rainforest. Such warning signs on the trail were not particularly reassuring either! (Kota Kinabalu, East Malaysia, Nov. 2013)

The tracks were removed though not the warning sign on the Yongping Road with the right side leading to the South Station. Where the just arrived traveller stands thinking where to go and once rails were embedded in the road surface.

Indeed there is a chance and most certainly when it's windy that your tee shot can pull to the right or left!
