I wonder if the person is allowed to get out first?
I get quite distressed when I see somebody reading some of the obnoxious and hateful daily press. Guess this would not count?
Caution sign, Jenny Jump State Forest, Warren County.
Black bears are frequently encountered in this area, but I did not see any during my hike.
I'd previously been at the other end of Banbury Street earlier in the year when I took shots of the former Eagle & Tun pub. I had no idea back then that a Grade II* listed building was at the end of the road.
I checked beforehand on Heritage Gateway for any Grade II* listed buildings in Digbeth and the Birmingham Gun Barrel Proof House came up.
For a Sunday morning there was no one here, might also be due to it's location, other side of the railway line.
Quite regularly down here I head trains passing by loudly.
Obviously this place was built before the railway line existed (but probably after the local canal was built).
Near here is Proof House Junction (on both the railway line and canal).
A yellow warning sign on Banbury Street from the West Midlands Police. Car owners to beware when parking around here.
Here is another of those none too encouraging warning notices about falling branches and fruit. And this one is a recent one, and a computer printout. This probably means that the instance of falling debris had been fairly recent. Thank you, that is VERY reassuring! Well, fortunately nothing fell on my head and I live to tell the tale! The same lost warning sign but there are no more trains running through the city streets. It's just a matter of time and civil workers will remove it. On the left side the South Station were all the standard gauge trains arrive and depart. When the Yunnan Line still ended at the Nan Station (terminus), it passes this point twice on its way to the North Station (Bei Zhan).
"Surfing, wading, and swimming not adviced. Shark area, strong undertows, currents and sneaker waves. Enter at your own risk."
These signs are posted at the entrance to many tunnels on the main highway in Croatia. Apparently these animals tend to seek shelter in the tunnels, sometimes with disastrous consequences.
And when you might think I was bored on that ship photographing all those silly signs...I was. To me nothing in the world is so boring as being on a ship for longer than an hour. There is land in sight for some minutes, even seagulls stop following after an hour or two, There's a cinema and the only movie I wanted to see was broken, there's a band, but it stops singing at 12am, there's a beautiful bar, closing at 12:30am, the time a normal bar makes most money, sleeping is impossible on a moving ship, my friends sleeping like an ox within a second, outside is rain and darkness...BOOOORING from start to finish...
So I hope you like these silly signs ;-)

Inspector Cadden, who commands the Bury East Neighbourhood Policing Team, poses by one of the new signs going up around the town warning people of police powers to seize vehicles under section 59 of the Police Reform Act.

This diagrammatic drawing was usual in Romania in the 1980s and 1990s, before the standadization of the current shape. This example is from Bucharest, on Pantelimon Roadway.
