An American Kestrel is busy eating an insect that it just caught, beside the sign that was posted recently. While walking in the park I saw at least two such signs. Over the years I have seen Coyote in the park quite a few times and I always enjoyed seeing them in this urban park in the middle of Canada's largest city. I wasn't aware that people might be feeding as they never showed any interest in coming towards me. May be all this is recent happening that prompted this post. If so that would definitely be an act of stupidity. My worries are the numerous leash free dogs roaming freely in the park and the resulting altercation that may seal these Coyote's fate for the worse.
When visiting Singapore, please follow the warnings. Foreigners had been barred from entering Singapore again for gathering with friends during the pandemic. Caught with banned drugs and you may face the death sentence!
Another shot taken from this beautiful headland but I was standing a little higher up as you can see. The slate area where I stood before was past this point and a little lower down on the lower right but was actually quite safe.
Warnings can be a very good thing though leaving the decision with you.
Although looking at the descent to the beach it is highly unlikely that I would have attempted it myself anyway...The wave action is more apparent around the base of the cliff and more noticeable in this shot. I could easily have cropped or cloned out the sign but chose to leave it in...open to critique though.
The Lake has become nothing but mud. If you look closely you will see tire tracks of the people who ventured out there in their cars. I left my truck on dry land :)
A Street Dog takes a rest under a bench in the City of Pushkar in Rajasthan. Pushkar, like most of India is full of Street Dogs, the ones in Pushkar like to party at night roaming the streets, barking and howling...

We have heard such ugly divisive language coming from Trump, it has been this way since his 2016 campaign. He loves the game of campaigning but being a leader that unifies does not seem to be within him. I wish I could understand how people support him because it boggles my mind.

This is how I approached the door, and, since the door is quite small, I was wondering why the sign says 2.80 m, I would rather have expected 1.50 m...
Until my mind was working again and it became obvious for me that the sign was put there for the bridge on the left (to be uploaded later on).
The door is not very special, but I always like the red bricks.

Back in time again to.....Saturday 5th August 2017, where we see one of the fine examples of steam power used on the former Somerset and Dorset Railway the 4F 0-6-0 tender locomotive.
5 such engines were specifically designed by Henry Fowler in 1922 when Chief Mechanical Engineer for the Midland Railway. In 1930, they were taken into the London Midland and Scottish Railway's stock under their later joint management of the railway.
Pictured here at Bishops Lydiard on the West Somerset Railway, is No.44422, a later built 1924 version, reversing around its coaches before its return trip to Minehead.
i love the little stick man, but i am really beginning to feel sorry for the little guy. i think he suffers more abuse than crash test dummies. i've seen him crushed by vending machines, platform release catches and gates. he's been electrocuted, submerged and hit over the head with parking lot gate arms. in this one he is getting ready to be run over by a tractor wheel.
he probably isn't too bright, but that's ok, i still love him anyway. i do worry though...what is he going to get into the next time?
have a great weekend y'all :-)
There was snow, ice and icicles everywhere on the cliffs and walkways surrounding Seljalandsfoss, which made for a beautiful, if slippery, winter landscape. The little sign at the end of the walkway warns of hazardous conditions.

Well, that's how they do it on the Kaunertal Glacier in Austria/Italy,
So gentlemen, beware :-))))
My son was convinced this warning sign is a false flag to deter any curious eyes from peeking inside where - he believed - there is a covert nuclear weapons facility. Or perhaps it's just an archery range.
A large sign blocking access along a small road, a part of a rail trail where it crosses a state road. The deactivated bridge in this case had to be taken down because of deterioration in its concrete and wooden supports and rusting of steel parts. The bridge isn't just closed, it is gone. A first attempt at replacing the bridge with a smaller bike and pedestrian bridge failed as the new steel parts started to buckle. Reconstruction continues, however.
