I took a walk through The Park in Nottingham on 23rd July 2011 and this is the Crossroads sign on Tunnel Road. The Park is not only the last place in Nottingham where the streets are still lit by gas lights, but the road signs are in a time-warp as well. Unfortunately, they cannot really be categorised as pre-Worboys or post-Worboys, as they exhibit features from both eras. In this case, we have a post-Worboys Crossroads sign mounted on a striped post. Nonetheless, I felt it was worthy of record, particularly as it is mounted upside down. I have a feeling that these signs have been purchased secondhand for use on the private roads. I only wish I had photographed those they replaced.

Always a bonus to get both a door and building date on one shot, in this case a triple whammy with an interesting sign as well.
Works better in colour than my usual B/W because of the red lettering.

Another example of hand-drawn traffic sign. This example is from Moeciu Pământeni, in Prahova County. Note the curious shape of the girl's pony tail -- I think that the artist wanted to draw a knotted ribbon at the end of the pony tail. The young woman looks determined, while the man is rather confused and lets himself be lead away by his spirited companion.

The first time I saw this kind of so called F-road (like fucked up for normal cars). Well at least you get warned pretty precisly before using it. I loved the 2CV sign that was added by some funny guy...
Social distancing warning and information sign seen on Hythe Quay in the town of Maldon in the County of Essex (UK).
The pictures on the right maybe amusing to children but they're not particularly helpful. I would think most people know how far 2 meters is by now.

Do you think they mean it? Gee, I wonder what is being grown. This photo was taken (very quickly) from my car shortly before dusk, so it's a bit grainy.
Vintage brunette bathing suit pin-up comes with a warning sign - Behave Yourself. This found photograph is from the private collection of an unknown and/or unknowing art collector. It’s always a thrill when it’s from Vinnie DeVille!

Yeah, I've photographed this several times...
Found a new abandoned building to check out in east St. Louis. It was already getting dark, and urbex is more fun with a buddy, so I didn't go in today; just looked around the outside.
Sign is hard to read:

This handpainted sign -- a perfect example of the naive style -- shows a young woman dressed in pants and a short topcoat happily leading a rather bewildered young man. As usual with this style of warning signs, only the man is carrying a briefcase; notice that the young woman is wearing a headscarf. This second picture shows that the sign is made of a highly reflective material
