I was catching photos of surfers and the brilliant sunset on the Bonzai Pipeline in Oahu, Hawaii, when I noticed this photographer standing in an extremely photogenic spot. I just had to snap his photo. I love sunset silhouettes!

I've crossed this bridge over Payne Creek in the Laurel-Snow State Natural Area countless times and never bothered to photograph it. Something about it on this visit made me stop to correct that oversight.

A sunny spring afternoon in Holland - but seen in near Infrared...

Leica M7 is ideal for this kind of picture - it's a range finder so one can still frame and focus with the IR filter on. And the light meter gives totally accurate readings too!

I just love this place so much, this is the second go I've had on this image... I might try again one day, see if I can add even more mood to it!

A painterly nature portrait of a monarch butterfly suspended in warm, golden light. The softly glowing background and gentle bokeh create an impressionistic atmosphere, allowing the rich orange wings to stand out in quiet contrast.

This image focuses on light, colour, and motion, capturing a fleeting moment that feels both calm and luminous, where the butterfly seems to drift effortlessly through a sunlit field.

Rich autumn colours sweep across the Blayney district in Central West NSW, with golden trees and warm seasonal tones highlighting the rural landscape.

An oak tree covered with vines growing in a vacant lot on the east side of DeLand, Florida.Shot with a Panasonic G7. Judging by the size of this tree, the lot has been vacant for a long time. In the Florida climate empty lots don't stay empty very long.

A quiet moment where light, color, and time slow down. One leaf, a soft breeze, and the feeling that autumn is gently reminding us to pause and look closer.

The air was heavy with the quiet tension that follows a successful hunt.
