Bekannte Strecke wieder aufgefrischt. Wetter hat ganz gut mitgespielt, zwischendurch war es ein bisschen frisch. Mit der 24 nach Kelmis-Bruch und mit der 14 von Hauset zurück.
I caught the last of the light at Trona Pinnacles, and then headed home after a long day of exploring the back roads. I had a pretty good day, for having set out without a plan!
The Fossdyke wharf at Saxilby. I got half an hour to go for a wander today, and this is the first time I have crossed onto this side of the canal in Saxilby (Bit poor considering I have lived in the area for years)

My understanding is that there is a large development under way and it will include what is to be known as Tully Park centered on the ruins of Tully Church and Graveyard. According to the developers Tully Park will be 22 acres in size, roughly the same as Dublin’s St. Stephen’s Green Park. Being the flagship park of Cherrywood, Tully Park will serve as a facility for the entire development, containing everyday walking and cycling routes and providing environmentally-positive connections. Lehaunstown Lane and the existing hedgerows and tree lines will divide the Park naturally into four zones:
A Heritage Zone with Tully Church & Graveyard, High Crosses and their environs, with paths to explore the monuments.
A Biodiversity Zone with lots of native wildflowers, shrubs, trees and informal paths to wander.
A Play Zone that includes a large play area for children, a skate park and an amphitheater area for open-air plays or performances.
A Passive Zone with lawns meadows and wooded areas make up the majority here, with winding paths and seating areas.
Das Felsenmeer liegt im sauerländischen Hemer und besteht aus den Überresten der Decke eines eingestürzten Tropfsteinhölengewölbes.
Erdgeschichtlich stammt es aus dem Tertiär. Das Felsenmeer zieht sich über eine Fläche von fast 600 Meter Länge und bis zu 200 Meter Breite. Heute ist es bekannt wegen seiner wild zerklüfteten Oberfläche mit tiefen, unübersichtlichen Spalten.

Die Wanderroute wird vom S-Bahnhof Waidmannslust am Klötzbecken vorbei in das "nordberliner Gebirge" die Lübarser Höhe führen. Über die Lübarser Felder geht es in den Tegeler Fließ weiter zum Hermsdorfer See - und zurück zur S-Bahnstadtion Waidmannslust.
