It was a miserable day today but having had a nightmare week both at work and at home we decided to jump in the car and find out where we were going when we got there. in this one you can see the rain cloud running from the left to the right.
Had a wander around Washingwell woods. Only ever used the cycle track going through here, so time to have a better look around.
I took this on Tuesday evening, just a quick wander through the woods with my little camera. Was nice just to walk and not feel any pressure at all. it hasn't come out great but its a good memory at least!

" It sometimes takes you a while to realize that you are lost. For the longest time, you can convince yourself that you've just wandered off the path, that you'll find your way back to the trailhead any moment now. Then night falls again and again, and you still have no idea where you are, and it's time to admit that you have bewildered yourself so far off the path that you don't even know from which direction the sun rises anymore.” - Elizabeth Gilbert
Rotweingemeinde in Deutschland.
Up at 4.30am for a blast somewhere looking for a nice misty dawn. It didn't really work out so I had a bit of an aimless wander looking for nice wee shots. I found this little copse I'd never been to before and was there just at the right time. A spot I will return to I think.
Can't wait to get back out there. Hopefully everyone is staying safe and healthy as we head into the holiday season!

Wandered through the Central Experimental Farm yesterday and took a few Winter shots! Hope you like this one!
If there's one thing that keeps me calm and refreshed every day, it's going out for quiet adventures in the company of just my dogs and camera, and allowing my mind to wander in thoughts and prayers.

Here’s a “Would You Rather” about photography for the rest of your life. Would you rather have an infinite amount of camera batteries that are mostly dead and need to be changed every two minutes (you don’t travel with all the batteries, they just appear in your bag when you need them) or have to shoot every photo with a 5 second shutter/time delay.
Unrelated, here is an image from the foothills of Mt. Rainier on a twilight in August.
As always, thanks for scrolling far enough to see my dumb little picture. If you are interested in learning how I create my dumb little pictures, reading my dumb stories or seeing more mediocre photography, you can head to www.ryandyar.com or check out the link in my profile.
