200522: As good as the network of cycle paths on Fehmarn is developed - in the inner city it leaves a lot to be desired, at least in Burg. Many cycle paths are cracked and destroyed by roots. Other cycle paths have been built from cobblestones by funny town planners, while the footpaths beside are nicely paved.
The area "Burgtiefe" has already become very chic. Last time on Fehmarn we lived in one of the three Arne-Jacobsen skyscrapers. I like the style, and the sculpture "Mädchen am Strand" by Karlheinz Goedtke anyway. I'm also enthusiastic about all the flower strips on Fehmarn! Calendula, California poppy, red linen and other flowers have been planted in many places. Great!

200522: So gut das Radwegenetz auf Fehmarn ausgebaut ist - innerorts lässt es zumindest in Burg sehr zu wünschen übrig. Viele Radwege sind rissig und von Wurzeln zerstört. Andere Radwege wurden von lustigen Städteplanern aus Kopfsteinpflaster gebaut, während die Fußwege nebendran schön glatt gepflastert sind.
Der Bereich Burgtiefe ist schon sehr schick geworden. Letztes Mal auf Fehmarn wohnten wir ja in einem der drei Arne-Jacobsen-Hochhäuser. Ich mag den Style, und die Skulptur "Mädchen am Strand" von Karlheinz Goedtke sowieso. Begeistert bin ich auch von den ganzen Blühstreifen auf Fehmarn! An vielen Stellen wurde Calendula, Kalifornischer Mohn, Roter Lein und andere Blumen gepflanzt. Großartig!

p.18 The amazing creation of tandoor naan and impressed with the community-minded posting of news.
p. 19 Noticing the burning ropes tied to trees for the first time and a visit to a colonial era gentleman's club where the slips of paper were endless. Puzzled by form letters addressed to members and posted on the bulletin board. A nightclub where Sahar's purse is stolen. The taxi ride home is exorbitantly priced.
