Visual Journal on this day..19th July 2011

So cute: Robert bought a shrimps sandwich and we sat down at the Kiellinie. A little girl came very close to us and looked at the crabs in the sandwich. I asked her if she wanted to taste. She didn't think twice and took some crabs. She seemed to like them, because like a duck takes to water she greedily grabbed some more crabs. I'm sure she wouldn't have stopped, but Robert told her that he wanted to eat the rest of the sandwich himself ;-)

After a really bad night last night, I've been weak all day today, but I needed to get into my art journal. The only thing I could think of was the Psalms. This is one of my favorite scriptures.

Layers and layers of paint! Journaling done with a uni-ball pen.

Here's a journal page I did tonight for day 22 of "30 Days of Get Your Art On."

A journal page I started on the 17th and finished up the 18th. I pretty much did all of it in bed.

Done in the car...everything, including the journal came out of my purse. I fondly call it my "trash page!"

Some recent journaling - blogged HERE

Don't know what to put on the other page as the black ink soaked through.

Bits and pieces of whatever caught my fancy got glue and stapeled in...

This simple image will be an inspiration for stitch

I was up late one night and started this page after reading a few sections from "The New Creative Artist: a guide to developing your creative spirit" by Nita Leland (it is soooo good!) I wrote the words in white glue then sprinkled all spice over the glue till everything was coated. It smells delish!!! I certainly "spiced" up my journal!
