The assignment was to trim page edges by tearing. I laid the plate down and tore around it. I was surprised how easy it was to get a nice half-circle that way. Then I did the same thing with the saucer. Last I added a page of a different paper, the center circle is tipped in and made from an old book.
Weekend! Looking for holiday travels... eating falafel doner, noticed that the flower bulbs are beginning to grow.
soft cover, pocket; the paper is much thinner than my classic hard cover, but it takes beautifully to pilot pens
I wore this today. Scan from this one:

People become Neanderthals when they stand in a line and a new counter opens. They scramble and push and those who stood on last position in the line try to come in the first position at the new opened counter. They run into other peoples achilles tendons with their shopping carts, I HATE THIS BARBARIC BEHAVIOUR!

Something a little out of my usual style. I had just purchased some Inktense pencils and was experimenting.
Done with leftover paints from other pages and some new ephemera goodies gotten in a stash. Other than the paint, it was all done in the car.
This is a journal page I did tonight. I'm doing another 30 days of get your art on, and this is day 3.
While working in my art journal, I tried 2 pogo print emulsion transfers. I wasn't able to get the blue layer to lift after soaking for 1 hour, so I put the print back in to see if soaking it longer would work. It didn't. I decided after I tried the 2nd time to get the blue off, just to use it for collage. I wonder how other people are able to get the blue layer off?
You can see my finished journal page here..
