We took an extended Weekend to take the girls to Minnesota to visit Amy's parents. On the second day of our visit we went to the Eagle Rescuse center in Wabash and Lark's Toys in Kellogg. I must admit while I thought the toy museum would be weak, it was very cool, and they probably had one of the most beautiful carousels I have ever seen.
I spent the day doing 5 workshops for the Children's Discovery Museum on the Saskatchewan. We worked on art flags (based Tibetan Prayer Flags) which will hand at the museum. Also in the room was my bicycle, ready to yarn/fabric bomb! Too fun. When they were done, I grabbed a nearby shopping cart and said, "this is ugly. Can you decorate it?" SO fun Such a great day introducing stitch and fibre art to children and families. www.mysweetprairie.ca
I think visiting the Grand Palace is one of top tourist attractions in Bangkok - with good reason. The place is fantastic - incredible architecture and art. It is also packed with people. We arrived before the gates open, stood in line and sweltered in the heat and were zapped by the time we got inside. Still - there was so much to see and do. The only things I didn't like were that we had to follow a designated route and couldn't backtrack and a number of buildings, including the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, were closed due to the upcoming coronation of the King. Bummer.
I took these photos in Bangkok, Thailand in April 2019.
Gary Vincent of ACAM visits with Erik from Holland. Erik and his wife were on vacation in the States, and the American Classic Arcade Museum at Funspot was one of the must-see attractions on their list!
Thassos isn't a big island, so we visited it in one day. The coast combine a very different landscape : the sea and the arid land, fool of olivs, pins, goats and cats :)
Saw Jack briefly while dropping Nori off to keep him company while I am away. He wouldn't sit still. Good to hear him purring!

Spyros takes the controls to give us a series of high-speed passes through the spectacular coves of Zakynthos' west coast, with crags and cliffs and sheer drops into the blue sea.
The Xpedition team visited Pasaia, a neighbour village that has traditionally looked at the sea and that has been a commercial and industrial centre for the area.

It was a pleasure to visit Bangor to spread Labour's message of real change. (8th December, 2019)
This manifesto offers the chance of real change for every generation and every community. When Labour wins the nurse wins, the pensioner wins, the student wins, the office worker wins, the engineer wins.
When Labour Wins, Wales Wins.
