I spent the day doing 5 workshops for the Children's Discovery Museum on the Saskatchewan. We worked on art flags (based Tibetan Prayer Flags) which will hand at the museum. Also in the room was my bicycle, ready to yarn/fabric bomb! Too fun. When they were done, I grabbed a nearby shopping cart and said, "this is ugly. Can you decorate it?" SO fun Such a great day introducing stitch and fibre art to children and families. www.mysweetprairie.ca
Thassos isn't a big island, so we visited it in one day. The coast combine a very different landscape : the sea and the arid land, fool of olivs, pins, goats and cats :)
Having a very good time in Essen, together with Karen, Paula, Sandra and Uli.

The Xpedition team visited Pasaia, a neighbour village that has traditionally looked at the sea and that has been a commercial and industrial centre for the area.
We took an extended Weekend to take the girls to Minnesota to visit Amy's parents. On the second day of our visit we went to the Eagle Rescuse center in Wabash and Lark's Toys in Kellogg. I must admit while I thought the toy museum would be weak, it was very cool, and they probably had one of the most beautiful carousels I have ever seen.

I am always amazed by what wanders into my suburban backyard! During the springtime, it is not uncommon to find a pair of mallards in our pool. Every now and then, at the end of summer, a lone female claims our pool and surrounding bushes as her own for several days....every time, I have discovered that this duck cannot fly. My suspicion is that the duck is going through a molt, and she is waiting for her primaries to grow in. This duck, after her discovery by our cat, was around for 5 days. Despite the presence of both the cat and our Labrador Retriever, who jumps right in with her, if allowed, she knows just where to hide and when it is safe to come out of the pool and preen. Each time this has happened, we awake one morning to find that Ms. Mallard has moved on!
Natalie Morales came to visit the neighborhood, she is an awesome singer, has awesome boobs and is an RN.
A pleasure to visit Carlisle and campaign for a Labour government. (10th December)
It’s time to save the NHS. It’s time for a pay rise. It’s time for free childcare. It’s time for lower fares and bills. It’s time for real change. It’s time for Labour.

The IKEA showroom: like visiting someone's idea of a home, but cleverly cleaner and brighter than your own.
In the British Virgin Islands, one of the more popular attractions on Virgin Gorda is the natural stretch of beach known as The Baths. Huge boulders, haphazardly hurled to their resting places by a prehistoric volcano, form caves, pools and grottoes that give the beach its spectacular beauty. Though challenging to squeeze through in places, the trail leading between the beaches is well worth the 20-minute walk, crawl and climb. (A nearby protected area, in fact, is called Crawl National Park.)
Pictures from driving through California in a convertible red Mustang: Firstly Sonoma to various vineyards - BR Cohn and Chateau St Jean. Then down Highway 1 to Big Sur and Julia Pfeiffer Burns National Park.
This is Trinity at the vets office. She has some kind of rash so I brought her in to have it looked at. She is on antibiotic for 15 days then goes back to have it looked at. I was also asked to give her a good long bath with her oatmeal shampoo. If it hasnt improved she will need a skin scraping done :S
Poor Trin :( Doesnt seem to be bothering her to much, she hasn't been scratching or anything. It is however a little tender when I touch it.
Almost forgot to mention, she was barking and growling at the vet when she came in to examine her. Trinity a gaurd dog...lol :) too funny.
