Steinheil-Cassar VL 105mm f/4.5 lens shot at f/8 (probably removed from a 6x9 folding camera) mounted on a Horseman VH 6x9 camera. Ilford Ortho film, Crawley's FX-37 developer (homemade) 1;5 6 minutes 20C JOBO. Seems alright for a $25 lens.
IMHO, the bokeh is exceptional, which may be a feature of well constructed triplet lenses.

The token Shanghai skyline shot from my usual spot to get a better feel for the focal lengths I have and the dynamic range of Provia 100F for cityscapes in low light.
So far I'm pretty satisfied with the performance of the film, however, the 240mm lacks the necessary image circle to properly shoot these scenes from ground level. The 150mm is wider but has almost no movement capabilities due to bellows restrictions (it's not possible to use bag bellows on my Chamonix, at least it's not something I can do myself).
The image was developed at home then scanned on the V850 using Silverfast. The amount of detail is astounding, even at a mere 600dpi scanning resolution.

Former industrial pier at Little Squalicum Creek on Bellingham Bay in Bellingham, Washington.
Photographed with a Zeiss Ikon Maximar 9X12cm camera. The film is expired French made Kodak Super-XX Nitrate film. I don't have an expiration date but I know nitrate film has not been made for decades. The film was for Tri-Color Photography. I developed it in Kodak HC-110 Dilution B for 5 minutes with some Benzotriazole to help reduce fog.
A rocky river and bluffs.
Shot on my Arca-Swiss 4x5 with Ilford Delta 100 film, processed in DR-5 as a chrome (positive). Looks outstanding on the light table.

I did take the Wista out on the hikes and even photographed with it from time to time, when we could get a break in. It's certainly not a camera that one can shoot from the hip and so I tried not to break the flow of the hikes. When I was out by myself, however, I took my time and got the camera out whenever I came across a scene that caught my eye. A scene such as this one from above the Fieschertal.
P.S. Happy New Year everyone!
Committed to Kodak Tmax 400 using a 4x5" Wista field camera and 150 mm lens. Developed using Ars-Imago FD 1:39, dev. time as per the massive dev chart, and scanned with an Epson V850 using Silverfast. Positive conversion and contrast done with Negative Lab Pro. Dust cleaning and final contrast in Photoshop.

Photogenic Flashmaster AA-01. Taken with Graflex Graphic View, Schneider-Kreuznach Symmar-S 180mm f5.6, Lomograflok with Instax wide, using another Photogenic Flashmaster system. Nobody seems to want these centralized "pack and head" flash systems these days. The energy is stored in big capacitors in the power pack and distributed using heavy high voltage cables to up to four flash heads.

This is a single 5x7 inch sheet film negative. Since I don't have a scanner that can handle large negatives, I scanned it in three parts.

Bloede Dam Patapsco Valley State Park, MD
A great blue heron stalks its prey at the base of the Bloede Dam located in Patapsco Valley State Park on the Patapsco River. It's amazing that this bird stayed still for the full 1 minute exposure.
This dam is slated for removal in the next few years as part of a habitat restoration effort by the Maryland State Parks.
"Pathway to Paradise"
On day 4 of my Zion Fall Color Trip, I headed into the famous Virgin River Narrows at first light. Because the water was cold, I wore dry pants and thick neoprene socks, which worked very well to keep my legs dry and my feet warm for the entire day of hiking in the water. In all, I spent nearly 10 hours in the Narrows that day, and as always the time flew by in this majestic and awe-inspiring place.
This classic scene was my second to last image made that day. I had run out of Velvia, so I made the exposure on 4x5" Kodak Ektar 100 color negative film. The exposure was 1 minute & 8 seconds @ Æ’/45 with a CPL on my Intrepid 4x5" large format view camera.
This was a very tricky negative to scan, but the final result is an incredibly sharp, massive-resolution image filled with rich detail and color tones that could be printed to 40x50 inches at 300dpi (you could stick your nose right up to it and only see more image details and fine film grain, not pixels).
