And, my very first meal from my garden. Just put some goddess dressing & (store bought) scallions on top.
VERY much a vegetable flavored ramen. When I first poured the packets on to the noodles, I thought it would be an overwhelmingly seaweed flavor, but that was not the case. The dried cabbage and carrots filled out the flavors, along with the dried green onion.
I added fresh green onion, because I had some on hand. but I think even without them this would have been a good ramen.
The noodles were nothing too special, but they were good, even after I let them sit for a while (I got called away from my lunch and had to finish it 20 minutes later)
Another package of ramen that I would most certainly buy again.
Well in this case a selection of veg. These are a few pics I took today, in a coffee shop (of all places) where they had a fantastic display of fresh fruit and veg for sale.
I suppose some folk may consider the avocado pear and tomatoes to be more of a fruit, but as I use them in 'cooking' I like to think of them more as veg than fruit. Besides, I couldn't exactly go rearranging the shop display for the purpose of my photo sesh lol. Oh and I did ask staff permission before whipping out my camera to start snapping lol.
One of the rare vegetable stalls WITH a ceiling in India. Mostly, green-grocers sit open air, from morning till evening.
I have this "vegetable ribbon" that I kept moving aside while trying out other things for my tie. In the end, I realized the vegetable ribbon looked better on the book than anything else I tried! So I guess I am now forced to call this my Vegetable Book! I had planned to use this journal to document "local" attractions I have never explored before, and nothing at all to do with veggies. Guess I'll include a trip to the Amish farmer's stand when spring comes!

Cut the celery, onions, and carrot(s) into 2-inch chunks. Remove the large stems from the parsley. The garlic can stay in whole cloves, but be sure to cut the root end off.
Do *not* mix the mushrooms with these vegetables.
