Let's YouTube opening party @ Beeld en Geluid.
In samenwerking met YouTube en de YouTubers van dit moment presenteert Beeld en Geluid een interactieve tentoonstelling waarin bezoekers de impact van YouTube op hun leven ontdekken: Let's YouTube. YouTubers Gio, Melanie, Marcel en Louise Latooys openden de tentoonstelling feestelijk op 6 oktober 2016.
Let's YouTube wordt gerealiseerd dankzij de deelnemers van de BankGiro Loterij en de steun van het Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds. Samsung draagt als partner van Beeld en Geluid bij aan de totstandkoming van Let's YouTube.

Café Kolwinter stond vroeger op de hoek Noorderstraat/Oosterstraat,
daar waar in de jaren '90 de bezinepompen van garage Pit stonden.
Begin 1700 woonde in café Kolwinter de familie Arends.
In die tijd hebben zich daar rare taferelen afgespeeld.
Ook hielden de redgers er zittingen en werden veel belangrijke beslissingen,
het kerspel Warffum betreffende, genomen.
De laatste bewoner van het café was de familie P. Bulthuis.
In die tijd was er ook een manege.
De twee grote deuren rechts was de doorrit.
Je kon paard en koets onder dak zetten om het café te bezoeken.
The Snouck van Loosenpark was opened in 1897 as a social housing project in a park. It was paid by an inheritance of the Snouck van Loosen family. The large modern houses were intended for deserving workers. It is still has a social housing function.
So stupidly or scuicidily (I'm not sure which one is more appropriate yet) I flocked to manchester in the early hours of the morning to see the devestation left by the rioters. Fortuantely the police seemed to have everything under control and after driving around following blue lights for a while we stopped here to grab a sneeky shot of the Vans shop. We had been stopped a couple of times but as soon as the Police saw our cameras they wished us luck and carried on with their patrol.
I was hoping for more action shots but this is all i got...
Accompanying the gorgeous Rover P6 Group 2 is the HW Rally Hauler panel van which is used quite extensively in a lot of Hot Wheels Team Transporter sets. Despite its generic status I do rather like the design of this casting which is believable and takes its design cues from a few 1970's US vans and maybe even our own Bedford CF.
My only real issue is that at these prices I would have expected a fully licensed alternative and thats taking into consideration the discount I got by getting it from The Entertainer. On the plus side it contains a LOT of metal in its construction and rides on Real Rider wheels.

This fabulous little thing was in the car park of Ardvreck Castle. If it's the standard Reliant 600cc engine, then I don't envy the driver, given the steepness of the nearby roads.
Een (voor de Winkelweek) mooi versierde pui van Van der Plank's Woninginrichting in de Arkelstraat (nummers 13-15), naast de Koekenbakkersteeg is de ijssalon van Busato te zien. Het jugendstil pand is in kasteelstijl omgetoverd en mooi verlicht.

In de Koekenbakkersteeg hangt het mooi vormgegeven straatnaambord nog.
