This example was owned by the coal board and looks rather attractive in the NCB black and yellow scheme.

The van is based on the Oxford diecast model, first disassembled and stripped to bare metal. A coat of primer / undercoat has been applied from a rattle can. Then, paints from the Precision range have been airbrushed on.

After a coat of glossy varnish the NCB transfers have been applied, and sealed in with a coat of matt. The van has then had a driver figure added (complete with NCB donkey jacket) and been reassembled.

The windscreen has been adorned with scratch made wipers and a tax disk. Number plates complete the vehicle.
