In honor of International Children's Day, Bright Future International was proud to host its first charity summer festival --"Generation to Generation". This annual festival was designed to promote positive values in children toward their parents, grandparents, and elders. The event was open to the public and complimentary for everyone. Guests enjoy performances by various artists and performers. Additionally, children are able to participate in interactive games, rides and attractions throughout the day. The event welcomed over 6,000 children and adults for an exciting day of family fun, food, and games.

Intersections' Power and Values program works to initiate a national conversation about the values and value systems that gird the exercise of power in the world. It seek to suggest new norms of ethical responsibility for decision makers and alternative value systems for weighing options and making choices. We will examine, propose and advocate for policies that embody these new norms and hold those who exercise power accountable to these values.

Cadets of the South Carolina Youth Challenge Academy, Cycle 54, participate in a commencement ceremony held at the South Carolina Army National Guard Battle Simulation Center, McCrady Training Center, Eastover, South Carolina, June 13, 2025. The ceremony officially concluded a 22-week course that tested the strength, courage, and determination of the cadets enrolled in Cycle 54. The South Carolina Youth Challenge Academy is a quasi-military structured, educational program operated through the South Carolina Office of the Adjutant General and the National Guard Bureau. Since 1998, the goal of the academy is to empower youth through mentoring, structure, and accountability; furthermore, the program emphasizes the importance of core values like respect, discipline, consistency, and an ethically sound approach to all aspects of life. This picture of blinds in front of a window displays how the sun itself can create different hues and shadows. Each individual blind has it's own shade of gray even though each blind is being exposed to the same sunlight. It fascinates me how such small changes in angle and perspective can change the value of a color on a given object.
