This piece is a cool and more detailed view of the clyde with the large group of fir trees which my family home and community highlighted by the burning circle in the sky, the four birds in the distance represent my two brothers myself and my sister and says to me the importance of the family and how we grow up and move on this reminds me of where i come from.

Value is like a gradient effect. I used my nail polishes in different shades of blue going darker each shade.
This picture represents value really well. You can see how the blues in the sky blend into eachother with the light and dark blue at South Haven.
1) This investigates value and you can see it in all the different colours of yellow and blue.
2) The subject matter is this chinese monument.
3) I think the gold is what makes this visually striking as the shininess makes it pop.
4) I would try and fit the whole thing into frame and let less light into the shot.
