Staircases in the school viewed from the 4th floor. I kind of like the pattern of dots on it, adding details making the photo less plain.
1. The Element of Art most prominent in this photo is value. We see shades of blue, purple and red in this photo.
2. The aspect of this photo that is most visually striking is the bright red and blue hitting the mound and the shades of purple that the shadows create.

This picture shows the Pisa Cathedral in Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa. I choose this image because Catholicism is highly valued in Italian life & culture. The cathedrals that you come across anywhere in Italy are all extremely beautiful and have a lot of meaning as well as taken very seriously. Today around 80% of the Italian population is catholic. The church has helped shape the ideals and values of Italian culture & plays a massive role in Italian life.

What I like in this photo is that it has two different meanings of "respect". First, students are showing respect by donating hats and bandannas to cancer patients. Second, it shows on the tree that people are showing respect to their teachers by giving a leaf which has their pledge of recycling on it.
Second, I like the perspective of this photo. I is interseting and creative, and it gives the boxes a sense of unity.
Third, I like how I have the reflection of the person in the glass behind the boxes. It almost looks like he is about to drop something in one of the boxes.
I don't like how this photo isn't in the rule of thirds. If I were to take it again, I would try and put the boxes across a horizontal line.
I also don't like how there is so much floor at the bottom. I would move closer to eliminate that, if I were to do it again.
I would also try to eliminate the lights in the office, as they are very distracting. They draw your eyes to them, but I don't want that.
