The grand plan for Glasgow was to re-build the city as concrete utopia with roads hidden, houses high and public areas connected by paths and bridges.
The Anderson centre was the first project but it was never fully realized and looking at how its aged in the last 50 years its lucky the project never got further.

Artist Rory Macbeth painted the words of the entire novel “Utopia” by Sir Thomas More, on the old Eastern Electricity building off Westwick Street in Norwich. The artwork was completed during 2006 and was only expected to be there a year as the building was earmarked for demolition. The building is still very much standing in 2012, and I for one am really pleased about that, as it adds something special to the city in my opinion. Great piece of artwork.

The building has been painted with the entire text of Utopia by Thomas More, by local artist Rory Macbeth. It is shortly to be demolished.
They wonder much to hear that gold, which in itself is so useless a thing, should be everywhere so much esteemed, that even men for whom it was made, and by whom it has its value, should yet be thought of less value than it is - Thomas More, Utopia

SOBER.
A series conveying a first person perspective of their personal utopic experiences as an intoxicated and addicted individual and the contrast of this against the reality which is poignantly dystopic.
