Re edit and black and white conversion. Version (3) I have a canvas print of another version minus some of the additional contrast in the sky.. I do remember the sun was very intense that day. I was standing under an umbrella for shade. Fun stuff!

Secret #15.
For this I used a picture which I took a couple weeks ago. I took it through a window in which was some water..
You may start to wonder on what I shouldn't have given up. If you do start to wonder that I ask you not to try to figure it out. If I want you to know, if you are supposed to know, I think you already know.
Thank you.

This is a brand new City of Brooksville, Florida, Department Public Works, Solid Waste Division, recycling truck. The cab/chassis is a Ford F-750 Superduty and it was converted by Monroe Modifications into a dual drive configuration (standing drive on the right hand side). The body is a Kann Up and Over (an improved version of the Dempster Recycle-One body). This truck also has a Kann Side Dump Plastics Compactor.
If you would like to know specifics about this vehicle you will need to contact Waste Equipment and Parts LLC at 866-288-2411 or visit their website: www.waste-equip.com
If you would like to see a "detailed tour" of this truck, please watch my video on YouTube:

This empty rail train departed Provo, UT a day earlier. It came off the LA&SL (via UP's Sharp Sub) and the came east over the Grande. I did not think I was going to get any shots of it because it didn't leave Bond until 12:40pm. This time of year, I figured there was no chance it would reach the Front Range before sunset. But with green signals the entire trip, it made amazing time and was at Leyden by 5pm!

A colorful close-up shot of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope's element assembly wheel. It appears like a collection of small reflective circles held in a circular metal frame divided into segments like slices of pie, with a silvery, star-like conical center. Each small circle sits within a slice of the frame, and each has a black rim with silver bolts and a black center connected to the rim by narrow supports like the spokes of a wheel. The frame is angled away from the viewer and partly out of view. At the top of the image, one circle does not have the black rim, and is simply a reflective disk bolted down. Another lunchtime catch of an old photo. Couldn't get the same angle as an older phone shot as the builders are in....
More from that round of photos from the other day. After playing in the forsythia, Wataru ended up getting inside photo time the other day. I really love how these turned out like shots that might be in a magazine (possibly because we've been staring at too many Japanese photobooks/magazines lately).
He's just so much fun to play with and I feel like I'm thinking about trying things with him that I wouldn't necessarily do with my other dolls.

My sister Abigail Grace, 3, close up. Taken on Thanksgiving. I used a low fstop when I took the photo, but I'm still suprised at how soft the edges came out. It almost looks like I used a lensbaby or something. Alas, I did not. November 2005

He lost his right foot in accident and lost his job. Being disabled is never easy. Now he just sits down at the corner of the shop district and begs for dimes.
No one knows when one will be down nor up wheel. Sometimes i just lie on my bed, get my self think about what if i was not as lucky as i am now. Though im comfortable with what i have, i can hardly imagine if i were those whom arent lucky.
Got up early with the housemates, and headed to Porthtowan beach. Unfortunately, no surf hire places were open, so there was one board between the three of them.
I walked about shooting all day, while they swam/surfed.
This was one of the first shots of the day.

Built in 2006 as UP 8522. Not long after being released from EMD, it was sent to the WSOR shop in Horicon, WI for repainting as the fifth unit in UP's 'Heritage' Fleet. The scheme is a take off from the last CNW scheme prior to UP's acquisition of that road in 1995.

Javelina Wash, Saguaro National Park.
Two thoughts -
1) Hiking in a wash is much harder than one might think. Heavy hiking boots sink right into the sand, and require frequent emptying (or, uncomfortable walking).
2) It's dry as a bone now, but the width of this wash shows that at times it can carry a lot of water.
