Project Soul Pancake - Week 7: Stay up all night
The latest Soul Pancake challenge was to stay up all night and I knew that while I could remember and reminisce about nights that I was still awake when the sun came up, I knew I could not complete the challenge now. I love my sleep. I get about 8-9 hours a night, so staying up all night sounds like pure hell to me.
When I was younger, It was fun and crazy and it didn't affect me the next day so much, but If I were to stay up all night now, at 41, I would be paying for it for days. So the only way I would stay up all night at this point in my life would be if I just could not sleep. Not voluntarily.
There are nights now where I get very little sleep if something is on my mind or I or one of my peeps are sick or something, and then I toss and turn and start to get very aggravated. The more I can't sleep, the more frustrated I get, making it harder to relax and fall asleep.
I know there will be challenges I can't totally 100% complete. But I can depict them in photos and think about what it would be like and toss things around in my head that normally might not be there and this is what I dig about this cool group.

Mating time for the seagulls at the moment and as they are very territorial at this time, I got dive bombed by them while sitting on the beach with my camera.

So you probably saw the pics of my Savers doll finds and here they are cleaned up. I fully intend to rebody both the Fashion Fever and Barbie Basic but I’m too lazy to play musical bodies atm.
My full blown doll collecting began as Fashion Fever started so finding Kayla was a huge nostalgia trip for me, though I did wonder at the time why both the dark skinned girl in both FF and Cali Girl had the exact same face but different names heh. Being a bit older I can appreciate her face screening a bit more now than when I first saw the FF and got upset that they got massive balloon heads… (collecting Monster High deflated that idea lol)
And yeah, Barbie Basics got me back into 1/6th at least partially so I did regret not picking up more of the girls when I had the chance.
And Secret Spells Kayla just reminds me to be on the hunt for all of the Raquelle bodies I can find.

Yesterdays PotD was a bit darker than normal ("The Dark Faerie") so todays is bright and colorful! This is another from yesterday when Aubrey was playing dress up. She put all of this on by herself! Quite the little fashionista!
My trail camera set up. The flower bed was just the right spot to film the local fox as he came into the garden. I used one of our E2 Ground spikes to position the camera and get the right eye level height.
