We had one sunrise in two weeks.... so I took tons of photos!

PS - SOOC, only cropped slightly ... the colour was this intense for a minute or so.
Finally i got two 500W strobes to use indoor.. Actually they're not the typical studio strobes but for a student on low budget they work pretty well anyway!
Sesilie looks much more grown-up with her new wig! She loves it and she's really curious to see the result when my sister is going to cut it ^^ 8D
UP DDA40X 6941 - UP DDA40X 6941 is in Oakland, CA on Wednesday, October 17, 1984. According to good sources UP 6941 was built in 1971 by EMD as a model DDA40X, serial number 35515, order number 7198, frame number 7198-17, from UP series 6900-6946. Disposition: retired 1985, traded to EMD in August 1986 and scrapped.

Light Up UCF 2012 - Student Night
I went out last year for this event with my old D60. It was one of the last events I used my D60 for. I hope to do even better this year. Hope you enjoy.

Had a surprise visitor today. Chipi woke up from hibernation and visited today. He remembered us and his name. Glad to see him back.
The sun has just set and a stack train is working in Rochelle. The train came out of a yard, crossed the BNSF diamonds and then back up into the Global III intermodal yard again and out of sight. It is backing up in the image here. I never saw it again before I left.
UP Y709 leads two other normally aspirated units just West of Elburn and is about to cross Francis Road. The three units are making great music in notch 8 with over 50 cars on the drawbar.
At the Women's March held in downtown Kansas City, this young women summed up the mood of the crowd.

Looking up to the top of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. Way up. See those tiny windows up at the top? Yeah, I didn't get to go up there. Sort of glad, because I think feeling it sway might have freaked me out a little bit.
Proof that I tried to work around the lack of gray cheese graters. Would've worked, but not too sturdy.
Rockefeller Plaza. Never made it up to the top at night. Next time for sure. NYC is super yet crazy crazy.

Well here I am. I used the larger of the three mirrors in my Victorian double combination bookcase. I put up a shot of the mirrors just before this one. Friday can't come soon enough as I am overdue for a haircut!
Hike up Slogen 4
A quick stop for a photo on our way up to Slogen (mountain in the background). It was starting to get dark at this point so could get a long exposure of the stream without any filters.
