i decided to keep the shazdolls outfit because tira looked so cute in it. add that to her cute little new panda toy and that's a complete awww.
no wonder she's currently the spoilt lati in the family! ♥
And here is the Ebay lot fixed up all before Christmas.
With Allan I’m happy how bright his blue hair turned out since I sort of wanted him to look like Aoba from DMMD (an Anime character who’s also brown eyed and blue haired lol) and he looks great on the twinky EAH body lol.
Hair Fair Barbie is on a modified clone body wearing Life In The Dreamhouse Midge’s dress.
Fashion Queen Barbie’s dress is from dollsahoy that brings out her colouring well. Her lips were painted on top and a ribbon was placed on top of where her blue vinyl headband had disappeared from.
Bubblecut Barbie was scalped and cleaned. It’s really weird but her face looks much better without all that hair and I’m just going to wait until I have time to reroot her.
Malibu Barbie was swapped from her PTR amed body with chipped tan lines onto a Malibu Body with Mexico arms because I thought it looked far nicer lol. I’m not a big fan of Superstar faces but I can make exceptions lol.
She is a bit like one Ante that I did a little while back. Especially because I used the same colour wig and the same coat for the photos haha.
But I used different colours for lips and blush. And her eyebrows are somewhat different in shape as well. But the overall look remains the same :P
Anyway, she was fun to work on again, even though it feels like repeating when you get the same instructions for the same sculpts ;)
But she remains as cute as a button, haha.

Union Pacific 1989 pulling Amtrak train No. 6 on BNSF's track. Are these the end-times?
This morning, I saw on a railfan list, that the Rio Grande Union Pacific Heritage Unit 1989 was pulling an Amtrak train number 6 from Denver. And it was going to be coming into Chicago on BNSF's main line. It occurred to me that I've never photographed this particular specially liveried locomotive, and that it might be interesting to try to get. So I watched Amtrak's web site all afternoon to see how badly it was behind schedule. I could see that it was going to be interfering with my picking up Kate at her office after work.
Eventually, the train was running so late that I realized that I could pick Kate up, and THEN we could go to Naperville and try to see it. Kate's usually game for this kind of thing. When I left to pick her up (about 4:15pm), the web site said it would be in Naperville at 5:09pm. Google says it takes 28 minutes to get from Kate's office to Naperville. It was going to be tight, and it seems like we hit every red light on the way there. I figured we'd miss it or there would be no chance for anything other than a grab shot.
We got there right on time (per Google) at about 5:07 and no Amtrak train was in sight (although there were a couple of railfans). I called the Amtrak 800 number and "Julie" said the train was scheduled to arrive at 5:20. Which it did. So we got very lucky. The light truly sucked, but it was still fun to catch this one. And Kate got Connie's Pizza out of the deal.

"It's great to reminisce about good memories of my past. It was enjoyable when it was today. So learning to enjoy today has two benefits: it gives me happiness right now, and it becomes a good memory later." George Foreman

Amazing how quickly the light picked up on this morning,a little under 30 mins later than the previous image and I was able to get 1/800th and ISO 6400! First time I have managed to catch the bird with its head so upright while still in the water.

pick-up, 6-wheeled chassis, plasticores, linked recoilless with APFSDS rounds front, roof mounted EWP with linked MMLs, ramplate, metal armor, 4 mini-safes in cargo area (in my days, everyone was using this loophole).
I've lived in Wisconsin for nearly 30 years but this June was my first time looking around the state capitol building. While I enjoy history and architecture I've never had this as a specific destination. In June I was helping to chaperone the FFA chapter to the state convention. Living 4 hours away from Madison there are usually at least a few students who have never been to the capital before. I made a point of driving past the capitol grounds and they asked "can we go inside?" So we went inside, gawked, and took a free tour.
Quite a grand structure. In 3 months I would make my second visit to see my wife deliver an address in the rotunda during the State of Education Ceremonies as a Wisconsin Teacher of the Year.
