This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Multi-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:3.5/55 lens with an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 100ø R60(R2) filter using Bergger Pancro400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
An underpowered MALSS heads west with a SD60M and a patched SP GP60 for power. Knapp Hill proved to be too much for the aging EMD duo and they had to double up the hill into Hersey before continuing westward. The fall colors are not peaking over here yet.

At my second chase location, UP 844 rounds a bend beneath plenty of brush shortly after passing under the Highway 24 overpass just outside Buckner.
I planned my locations around the scheduled stops in Buckner and Lexington with one more location after this one.
This is a set of pictures I was thinking of making since several months ago. I wanted to create a line-up of my sister's and my own dolls, but something different from your usual comparison pictures.
