I've put my shadow on a strict diet !!!

Bec's doing well. She's going in for a cardiac ablation procedure on Tuesday, so until then it's waiting around, reading, eating bad hospital food and tolerating husbands taking photographs )

So it seems like Lego messed up with my latest parts order and sent me some not-yet-released prints that'll come with the microscale Diagon Alley (40289) instead of unprinted ones. I didn't bother too much about them, but realizing no one has probably seen them yet I thought I'd share a pic.

Week #10 ~ Film Noir

Yippe for Friday, everyone!

This is the first shot taken on my gawjus Manfrotto tripod, I pulled in near this field on my way home with it. No soon had I got it erect when POW! A man appeared asking me what I was doing....ummmm taking a photo?? I then nervously went into depths to explain it was a 3 bracketed shot, I was hoping to get a good HDR. I don't know why I told him this, I'm sure from the look he gave me it made no sense.

Anyhow after he had told me about people walking their dogs and spoiling nearby crops and not being respectful, I decided NOW was the time to do a silly shot, knowing that he'd gone away happy that I was trustworthy.

A 10 second timer dash, if you don't mind, in which I sustained a slight elbow injury, gawd knows how. And its not the best shot, but Im so happy with my new tripod that I decided to upload it even though it shows my horrid Hobbit feet off nicely.

The previous shot is the one I wanted to use but It went out of focus...so I had to go with this photo....
