I took a picture of this barn, probably from about the same spot, back in October. A different season makes it a whole new picture. I'm always drawn to this barn with it's beautifully weathering wood.

Easter worship services were finally prepared, so I went out for a walk, to relax. I encountered this man on a trail in the woods. He was moving at a good pace, carrying a heavy log. When he stopped at the covered bridge and took a breath, I asked him what was going on.
He said he's training for Tough Mudder, a 10-12 mile obstacle course designed by British special forces. "Tough Mother?" I asked. No -- mudder. As in running up muddy hills.
I asked the man to pose for a portrait just before he ran back into the woods.
