I'm sooooo happy I have my 300mm lens! But I could use an extender.

This big guy was resting on the beach, just like any other sunbather, amidst the crowds on Poipu Beach.

Green sea turtles come up onto this beach to sleep at night, sometimes there are 50 of them all at once!

A turtle I found crossing Pughtown Rd. I brought it to where I work at Buttonwood Farm near Kimberton, PA.

This is a series of photos I took of it before I released it in a pond on a farm near where I picked it up a few hours earlier.

The law is that during the Egg Laying Season that the lights are switched off near the beach so that the turtles don't follow that light near the houses/condos/road... they are amazing to see..

Look really really good. you can see him. There is a Green Sea Turtle peeking out of the water at me as we frolic the shore line.

The turtles lounge on this same log every day on the Cypress Swamp Trail.

Tycho strikes a pose for the camera. He's a pretty turtle.

A Turtle feeds on coral, with a few big Angelfish grabbing the leftovers.

Turtle buddy. This was one the three turtles we saw out at the cabin over the weekend.

Turtles are everywhere. You walk around, you stop, you look around, there's a turtle. Brilliant colors on this 3-toed box turtle, no color-tweaking or saturation, I swear! One of 3 I saw in about an hour. The other 2 were buried face-first in mud & underbrush.

There are about 20 at the moment; they've been thinned a bit as I've seen as many as 50 here.
