A turtle I found crossing Pughtown Rd. I brought it to where I work at Buttonwood Farm near Kimberton, PA.

This is a series of photos I took of it before I released it in a pond on a farm near where I picked it up a few hours earlier.

First time for me seeing a turtle! They are really cool and special. I accidentally found this one when me and my friend was taking photos in a rose park. Lucky me!

Behold our pet turtle,"Mamay" .

Mamay is a he.

This turtle is names as such due to the red spots where it's "ears" are. And also because it slides down the banks of the creeks, lakes, ponds, and rivers that they call home.

Here is one of the bigger turtles in the pond at Linyin Temple.

Turtles are everywhere. You walk around, you stop, you look around, there's a turtle. Brilliant colors on this 3-toed box turtle, no color-tweaking or saturation, I swear! One of 3 I saw in about an hour. The other 2 were buried face-first in mud & underbrush.

Finally to my favorite part of the vacation - Big Island of Hawaii. This turtle was sunning on our beach at the resort. Coincidentally, so was I.

"Here's mud in your eye!"

Ichigo is still having trouble with her eyes. Some days are better than others. Today was a not so good day. The filter is almost finished cycling though and her ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels have all gone way down. I only noticed today though that her pH level had gotten a tad too low from us using spring water so I dumped some tap water in there to try to level it out.
