For our most recent uni project on physiognomy (basically portrait really)
I ended up approaching strangers on the street I felt looked untrustworthy and may normally avoid. I asked them if I could take a photo and took 1 shot of each.
I wanted to see if my assumption was changed in any way and similarities between each person.
EWT Abberton Reservoir NNR 21st August 2025. There are now 18 resident Spoonbills - such a fine sight! And today the Lapwings were down by the causeway giving a really clear view of their iridescent plumage.
Culross Palace was built in the early 17th century for Sir George Bruce, a wealthy merchant. It was never a royal residence but possibly got its name from a misinterpretation of the wording in the title deeds. The Palace and garden have been extensively restored by the National Trust.
On Thursday evening, June 18, Mayfield Salisbury volunteers were with the Bethany Christian Trust Care Van. Bethany provides this van throughout the year. It stops at several places in the city of Edinburgh. At each stopping point it serves hot soup, tea, coffee, rolls, and offers its customers the chance for a chat. Our volunteers help with this service regularly.
