Difficult to say how this happens but not unusual. Flies appear to be unable to reverse out of this situation either becoming intoxicated from the nectar or simply held in this position unable to get out ?

After taking a few photos I did try to save this frog but the heron just hopped away.

So cool to have red foxes in the backyard of our cottage in Austria...taken with my Camtraptions kit.

One last shot of my little droplets series shot in the foggy highlands of Fanal. Isn't it crazy how powerful the water surface tension keeps the drop in place ?

I think it's blown free since though....70mph today !!
