For my finale major finale major project last year , I used the sewing machine a lot in my work . I wanted to show the thin red lined moving around like the blood clots forming and moving around giving more depth/texture.

the Venus fly trap must have wet feet. However, chlorinated water will kill it, especially if it is leaving or heading into dormancy.
If it totally dies back, give it some time and keep it wet. You may soon see little traps forming again.
Starting a collection 'Trapped' where Mumu (and possibly others) have decided to use me as a chin rest or shelf.

I am drawn towards pictures that provoke emotions. I was trying to portray the feeling of trapped, isolated, stuck as life passes you by. I chose this spot in particular to emphasize the feeling of trapped behind a fence from the rest of the world, caged as life passes you by.
It's very sad for this grasshopper, but he chose the wrong way... He got trapped in the wire that protects us from mosquito's...
Walking from Ikea to Home Depot yesterday, we got to observe this freight train dropping off some of its cars in a shed along Delaware Ave. For non-Philly people: the train runs down the middle of the highway, so it had to cross traffic, which made it all the more interesting!
I've been reflecting on my Trapped Man series that got its start in February of 2017 and intensified as the chaos of that time rolled over mankind.
So here are my 2 Lil Fly Traps! Venus 2.0 (left) looks so well done and AWESOME in comparison with my very first Venus (right). I love them both very much tho, I've just gotten better than before ^~^
