A bit of mist would have helped, certainly one to return to in better conditions!

Don’t ever think you are alone here,

We’ve just been trapped in different hells,

And people aren’t against you dear,

They are just all for themselves.

The spider spun her web with pride, a fortress of threads and hunger. But the killer bug came cloaked in stillness, tiptoeing the lattice she thought was hers. One touch with the long fang and the hunter was trapped. One shot of this drama in nature.

Kind of the way I have felt over the last yr....darn pandemic. Be safe all and Enjoy always! 🙋‍♀️🌼

I noticed these leaves trapped below the ice that had formed in the plant saucer. I liked the patterns and colours.

Flight home was cancelled due to bad weather, had an opportunity to capture one last morning before returning home

Ladybird trapped in a Dandelion. I used a leaf to help it out.

As wind, rain and cold temperatures move across the Northern Hemisphere, I find myself lots in reverie of warmer days.

Thank you for your visits, faves and comments.

Although these pretty deer (mule deer I think), had lots to eat and a large enclosure. plus a building to shelter in, they huddled together and looked petrified. I am presuming they are for food? IDK. :-(

I found this growing from the birdbath one icy morning. About 2 inches high with loads of air bubbles trapped inside, which are lit by the early morning sun. It looks like a whirlpool frozen in place to me.

This beached log was trapped here on this small sandy beach between rocky formations on the Oregon coast.

Work made with stock images and images of mine.

Stocks used: 25 different photos.

From Wikipedia... "The composition of sand varies, depending on the local rock sources and conditions, but the most common constituent of sand in inland continental settings and non-tropical coastal settings is silica, usually in the form of quartz. The second most common type of sand is calcium carbonate. An example, aragonite, has mostly been created, over the past half billion years, by various forms of life, like coral and shellfish."

I'm just delighted that I noticed these lovely particles. You might want to enlarge this image, as the sand particles are incredibly lovely. ;)
