The setting sun from Ardsley Reservoir on the outskirts of Leeds - I always use manual focus with my 300mm lens, and this caught my eye when i was prepping a good composition for another shot - nice and abstract. wasn't as warm as you'd think :-)
Was nice to get some photos with the sun in it for a change - been quite rainey of late. I stopped off at Ardsley reservoir on the way to my parents as it looked like there would be some good light........ yesterday i went on a Leeds flickr group outing to Hebden Bridge and it rained *all* day - no good photos myself, but was a nice day spent in various pubs sheltering :-)

It certainly was lovely and quiet when I took this shoot ~ looking across to Arran and such a peaceful day!

This was shot from one of the many wooden bridges that cross ponds and canals at Venetian Gardens in Leesburg, Florida. The fog gave this park a tranquil and mystical feeling which I tried to capture with this photograph.
Using John Adams pattern for his "Off the Grid" wallhanging I created mine using Tranquility by Sandy Gervais.

Hiked up to the Tranqulity Cracks (top of Slangolie Buttress in the Twelve Apostles) on Sunday and I was very impressed. Great hike up Corridor Ravine and the cracks themselves were brilliant.
This is the view back over Camps Bay towards Lions Head and Table Mountain.

After a stop at Benton-Lane winery, and before heading into Corvallis for the night, we made a stop at Harris covered bridge. A beautiful covered bridge over Mary's River in Wren, Oregon. A very tranquil setting.
