Another view of the stream near our campsite... I loved the colors and textures as much as the sound of the rushing water. For this shot, I tried to slow the shutter, even though I shoot handheld. I was pleased with how it turned out :)
Whitney Portal, Lone Pine, California, July 2012.
A view to a Zir hill, visible from the A1 motorway in Croatia - another beautiful spot that tourists heading south, to the coast, usually just pass by, unaware of an ultimate beauty of this area...
I really like how this shot turned out. These Horned Grebes are so small, that its tough to fill the frame with 400mm!
...I just like the simple, and tranquil feel...enjoy....

The textures and sounds of lapping water and rustling leaves - and the calm tranquility they create. I thought the ancient art device of the Tondo, or circle, might express it well. A happy and tranquil Tuesday to everyone ;o)
Shot at Fyvie loch, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

I had a wonderful, tranquil time wandering on the sand bar early in the day watching the birds. I'll keep this memory close by when I need to relax :)
Herring Cove Beach - tip of Cape Cod, Mass
A calm, still day looking across Lake Garda. The last remnants of snow can be seen on the distant mountain top.
As the mists rolled in at Abbotsbury Sup-Tropical Gardens, the meditating buddha stands out - surveying his domain.
After several years away, I plan to come back from time to time. I'm also planning to go to Africa and I'll be back with some beautiful scenery :)
Here is a beautiful sunset taken in Oostende, Belgium.

Tranquility in the Sturt Gorge, Flagstaff Hill, South Australia.
This would have to be my favourite photograph taken in the Sturt Gorge. I love the Sturt Gorge as there is so much to explore as well as it being the perfect spot to stop and reflect. This photograph highlights both of these points. There have been many days where I will come down to the gorge, simply to relax and drown out the common problems of day to day life. In this hidden forest, nothing from the outside world matters, and that’s what I love about this tranquil location.
One of the great thing about "photographers' hours" is that occasionally you have an awesome site to yourself, this being the case at Purakaunui Falls in the Catlins, New Zealand. The water flow was a little low but the light seemed right and with the birds singing in the forest it gave a moment of pure tranquility to capture and enjoy the moment.
