Looking across lovely Lake Louise at the Boat House on a moody day. The sense of serenity and wonder was strong this day.
May you day be Wonderful!
Can't believe that it's Thursday already! It has been such a busy week, I sure hope things slow down soon. These are some drops on some California Pepper Trees.
Have a wonderful day!!! :)
HGGT!
I arrived in Hawaii, and wouldn't you know it, a storm. Not just a storm, but a record breaking storm. A storm that produced the largest waves ever recorded on the island of Kauai. Of course, that would be the best time to be there if your a surfing fan, But I'm not, I'm a photographer and that's the worst time to be there. After spending a great deal of time trying to find "any" shoreline that wasn't closed or dangerously inaccessible, I stopped at this spot along the beach to take a break and just sit, take in the view and enjoy being in a tropical island paradise for the first time. This is low tide, and this spot is usually dry at low tide, but because of the storm surge this area had changed dramatically in the span of half hour and within an hour was completely under water and I was forced to take refuge in the jungle. After some time I managed to find a path that led back in the direction of the parking area. That was some serious bushwhacking that I hope never to experience again. It went from tranquility to trepidation. :)

After the sun has set the winds calmed down enough to get a few shots. A storm had just passed through so it was touch and go if I would come home empty handed.
The second morning light on Sand lake wasn't as colorful as the first but was still worth losing some sleep over.
I was given perfectly still waters which made for some nice reflections.
Buttermere in the Lake district at sunrise. Here you can get the waters so calm and still, although not quite what I was after in the end the result is still a great sunrise.
An evening view from the balcony of the house in which we were staying in Vivario, a small village in the centre of Corsica
I get a deep sense of inner peace when I see a beautiful bird such as this roseate spoonbill feeding and preening in a glassy surfaced lagoon, bathed in early morning light.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Lough Erne produces some amazing sunsets, I love it when the clouds and colour combine and then to get a still reflection it definitely is worth getting out to witness
