I shot this one during a recent walk in a forest, it was a beautiful day more like spring than winter and it was ever so tranquil.
The location is the Greeto Water Falls in North Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland.
Not often you see Lake Ontario so quiescent.
Lake Ontario is the 13th largest lake in the world, stretching 193 miles in length and 85 miles in width. It is nonetheless, the smallest of Canada's 5 Great Lakes !

The Sognefjord or Sognefjorden is also known as "The King of the Fiords" as the largest and deepest fjord in Norway. Taken along E39 shortly after Oppedal-Lavik ferry crossing before Aven. Tranquillity of the scene was stunning with only small ripples in light breeze at a distance. A 10-stopper did it its job well turning the scene into serene beauty. Sogn og Fjordane, Norway
The light was golden and the sea and the reflections seemed to have been created by some godlike alchemist. A moment in time captured.
This is Luskentyre Beach on the west coast of South Harris in the Outer Hebrides. Even on a cloudy day the water keeps it's incredible colour.

I had a very short trip to Glen Affric and met with Carol (MrsR66) who I haven't seen for what seems like years. It was good to catch up briefly and also capture the ever changing light around sunrise.
Unfortunately I had to leave to take Archie for his annual jabs in Inverness.
