Falls in the centre of the park in the middle of Swan River in the centre of Perth. While the surrounding through fares create a busy and noisy hub, this park offers the city a calm serene retreat for weary commuters. Not far from King's Park, another much larger retreat.
The simple pleasures of a quiet reflection at sunset. I love it that the body of water that reflects also leads the way.

This was taken on an early morning trip down to the lake during our stay in Keswick. The still conditions and clouds created an extremely tranquil scene, almost spiritual in fact.
Nature's gift in times where it seems more difficult to find peace . As I was setting up this shot a loon called out on the lake, the perfect accent to a magical summer evening.
Everywhere I turned in Tennessee there was something beautiful to photograph. It was hard to leave, honestly! This shot was taken at the park by Holston River in Bristol.
