Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area, Oregon.
I recently discovered this trail. It does not appear to be heavily used. It climbs a little and parallels a ridge overlooking the Columbia River.
Tri-X film, Olympus OM10, Zuiko 50mm 1.8 lens. Processed by Blue Moon Camera. Home scanned print, Epson 4490.
I picked up this camera and lens combo, complete with leather case, sky filter and lens cap for $10 at my favorite reuse shop. I've never shot Olympus SLR before. The camera body has a few rough spots, but the lens is beautiful. It has an auto mode (which my Minoltas lack), so I'm going to have to get used to / or figure out a way to override it. This was the first roll of BW film I put through it. I'm happy, the exposures are pretty good, maybe slightly overexposed for my tastes. For an SLR it's very compact and lightweight. More images to follow.

Along the Fisher River in Brunet Island State Park. It’s a short trail that was a perfect walk for our short break at the park!
The early rise in the forest becomes the morning starlight trail...yours to adventure...yours to admire within your soul.

Have a safe and soulful day dear Flickr friends !
This is a former railroad bed turned walking trail North of Marshfield, Wisconsin where I grew up. Beautiful color earlier this week.
Toby and Dandy going off trail at the lake. This is the farthest we’ve been on this trail. Nice little swell in the creek.
While sitting on the bank looking out over the water these trails became interesting and a shot was taken, not sure what caused them as the wind was still, only the waves of past boaters were visible and coming from the wrong direction, whatever caused them they were interesting to see. The reflections on the water from the trees also added to the enjoyable sight on a wonderful calm, warm day.

It is incomparably easier to believe what you have been accustomed to believe ... however, follow your path!
Made it to Dundas Valley for the first time this year, rode the TransCanada Trail to Hamilton for a taste of real woods (Carolinian Forest) and the Niagara Escarpment. Hiked around Sawmill Trail, which has less people than the other side which has wonderful trails through the beautiful landscape of the escarpment, but which understandably is a people magnet.
