Even though this shot is a bit overexposed, I like it better because it hides most of the flaws and highlights the tracks a bit better.

A sequel of sorts to the preceding image. Stormy weather, winds and rain, have led to a premature departure for some of the lovely maple blossoms lending color to the landscape these days.

The Star Wars booth was all about art this year. Bantha Tracks is the fan publication that started when the first film came out. I have the first issue of the fan publication since I joined the fan club and have been a card carrying member ever since. Here is a display of fan art that Bantha Tracks has been collecting over the years. You could also see fan films projected on the big screens above the booth and enjoy a series of Darth Vader masks done up by different artists, like the Cow Parade. Jeff B., one of my favorite Disney Photographers, took a shot very similar to this that was the inspiration for this photo. Until I saw Jeff's photo, I had never even noticed these conveyor belts overhead when exiting Test Track.

Probably one of the most-walked-on stretch of train tracks in NE Ohio.

Here is the tracker control system in its deployment configuration – the card is the same size as an Arduino Uno . Socket at left holds the Arduino Pro Mini clone (ATmega328 5V 16Mhz). Socket at right holds the A4988 Stepper Motor Driver Carrier. Single 2-pole screw terminal block, right front, connects to the HOME sensor switch. The pair of 2-pole screw terminal blocks, right rear, connect to the four leads of the stepper motor.

The 6-pin right-angle header on the nearside of the Arduino Pro Mini clone can be connected to a USB-to-Serial converter, but is only used to download programs from a PC onto the Arduino.

Note the 9 VDC battery cap. I intend to power this system from an external power tank, because I plan to add a current hungry, FET-driven, anti-dew heater controller to the empty real estate on the board. However, for the time being, what with the stepper motor being powered at a 0.8% duty cycle, I actually think I can run the tracker for several hours on a standard 9V battery.
