I like 8 Track sound once in a while, so I digitalized a favorite album I have on 8 Track - even leaving in the track change clicks and the duplication start signal at the beginning. I've seen this album on ebay as an LP which would sound better, but I like it this way since this is how I heard it back then. This Soundesign 8 Track player was my first.

Abel, our tracker, takes a break while we followed a rhino and her calf on foot. The knife is for clearing any branches out of the way, but was also handy for opening the monkey orange!

When the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad built their new station in Scranton they commissioned 36 tile murals from the Grueby Faience Company of Revere, Massachusetts. The murals depict scenes along the DL&W's Phoebe Snow route from Hoboken to Buffalo, which was the railroad's most scenic route.
The scene depicted here is along the Chemung Canal in New York.
