A Freightliner class 66 passes Darlington Arena with the daily Teesport to Felixstowe liner. Ths stadium is being used for Covid testing so with the area teetering on the brink of tier 3 restrictions its a bit surprising that there doesn't appear to be any testing going on. Maybe its happening inside.

Tracks. What else can I say?

On the tram track that is.

Strandvägen, Stockholm.

The tracks of the old Boulder Tunnel are mostly gone, and some use it now for a roadway. Built in the 1890's and reaching over a mile through the mountain. Fun place to visit, although not easy to locate the first time.

As the tram tracks split to either side of the platform, wooden blocks are used. These fair much better than solid ones as they expand and contract without breaking as the trams pass by.

Some of the amazing track that leads down to Dawson Falls in Egmont National Park in New Zealand right near Mt Taranaki

A shot of the tracks which lead from Jersey's Desalination Plant to a Pumping station used by Jersey Water at the bottom of the cliff. The desalination plant was built in the former La Rosière quarry in St Brelade with sea water pumped into a deep pond within the former quarry.

Remains of the quarry buildings can be seen at the top of the cliff. Meanwhile, these tracks also hide a geocache, one which I have yet to find!

Sorry I haven't been posting or visiting you guys' streams much, I have caught the flu bug! :(

And to make things worse, I haven't gotten an MC to get a day off or anything, so I'm still working my butt off. Sigh.

Anyways, old shot of my sis, who was trying to dodge me, but I think I tracked this shot pretty well, at least the Superman sign is clear!!!! \m/

I want to do a photoshoot after my internship ends. I have so many ideas, but so little resources... :(

How are you guys holding up? January can be a bitch.

PS: do you see the reverse bungy structure in the background? :)

With blades on long arms and the elaborate sweeping mechanism, this thing looks like it is capable of doing everything from track repair to landscaping work in your back yard!

This extreme magnification on a warm March day in 2007 accentuates the unevenness of the track near Curthwaite as a northbound freight approaches (60036 heading 6C48 Workington - Carlisle).

This one is better bigger.

While I was on the road for my job, I came across a tracked dumper at a building site. And since I wanted to build a line of tracked vehicle's for a while, I decided to start with this. All other (way more ambitious) plans were put on hold. It was actually quite fun to design and learned me to work with the track links in LDD. If you like this , expect some more of this. In the last three pictures you see it on a purpose made trailer towed behind the good old M.A.N. 453 6X6 .

No doubt: this photo was taken at Santa Cruz near Rio de Janeiro. The huge hangar was used by zeppelins in the 1930s. In 1995, the Trackers shared the hangar with P-95A Bandeirulhas and AT-27 Tucanos.

When the track is up, the boats in the canal pass under. Seen in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, along the New River Walkway.
