Another view from the Thames and Severn canal. The canal is no longer in use but it’s a haven for wildlife and a lovely place to walk in any season.

One of our favourite walks, between Wolverton and Cosgrove by the Grand Union Canal.
carolyns boss came over for a walk with her dog millie on sunday and we went for a long walk of all my places
We had a nice little walk down the canal in Uppermill this morning.
Straight from the car park we were greeted by this very imposing bridge. Hinting at the areas industrial past along with other remains from a bygone era.
We drove home through Oldham which must have been a very grand and important place during the industrial revolution. Sadly now seemingly forgotten about as it is so run down and grim.
