There's a small abutment that you can look up the former canal. Not much water is left. Plenty of bugs though!

Here the towpath is so overgrown there are trees over it. Nobody is going to be bringing a horse-drawn barge here.

A frosty walk along the canal towpath in Dukinfield, Tameside.

Took a drive down to my local canal this evening to capture the gorgeous light as the sun began to sink. I am sure you will agree, the colour cast is lovely and warm
