This is an acceptance this Tow Path exists.

Along the C&O Canal in Great Falls, Maryland

Just passed from Cheshire East into Cheshire West & Chester. The Cheshire Unitary Authority boundaries must have been drawn by a comittee of politicians.

You really have to look on a boundary map to see it but here's an example. The King's Lock Inn, Middlewich, Cheshire East is about 3km West of the Fox and Hounds at Sproston Green, Cheshire West. The Fox also has a Crewe Post Code.

You couldn't makie it up, (but someone did)!

Years ago horses would have drawn barges along this canal near the centre of Northampton. Nowadays in summer motorised boats use it for recreation.
